Overview

Fisher Phillips, one of the oldest and largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has an opportunity for employment attorneys with over seven years of experience to join our team as Special Counsel in our Virtual Office. Responsibilities

Handle administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation for firm clients, including those with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI). Supervise others, develop case strategies, draft and review work product, conduct depositions, and represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials. There may be some travel (mostly local) involved with this role. Primary focus on administrative charges, demand letters, and single-plaintiff litigation, with potential involvement in class actions and PAGA cases, as well as other labor and employment law matters. Collaborate with partners and a team of attorneys, benefiting from the support of a team of paralegals and a shared secretarial pool within our Virtual Office. Work Style

This position also comes with no business development pressure, allowing you to concentrate on providing exceptional legal services without the burden of additional non-billable hour demands. Expertise in handling employment law matters and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential. JD from an ABA accredited law school, more than seven years of experience in employment law and litigation, and active bar membership in good standing. Preferred qualifications include experience practicing in a law firm, experience with matters covered by EPLI, and bar admission in California. Benefits

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $185,000 - $200,000, with actual base pay determined by factors such as the selected billable hours target, experience, skills, and qualifications. How to Apply
