The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for managing, maintaining and implementing the company’s health, safety and environmental program on multiple projects. Job Responsibilities

Exercise general supervision of multiple job sites to monitor and manage projects during each phase of construction; including but not limited to pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction. Assist with the development of project risk registers, site specific safety, health and environmental plans, project new hire orientations, etc. Participate in the project’s site safety committee as applicable. Assist the project team with initial safety start-up, including review and input to project specific safety issues, i.e., hazardous materials, signage, safety supplies, etc. Participate in the planning and execution of weekly All-hands safety meetings, as needed. Participate in the planning and execution of pre-task planning meetings, as needed. Periodically attend project weekly staff and subcontractor Foreman meetings. Conduct safety-related training and orientations to BNBuilders field personnel, as prescribed. Oversee the issuance of work permits for high-risk activities. Assist with the investigations of all incidents of the assigned project. Assist with the development of leading indicators to determine trends. Qualifications

Obtain and maintain Safety Trained Supervisor in Construction (STSC), OSHA 30 Hour certification in construction, and CHST. Knowledge of construction operations. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction safety. Proficient communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment. Customer service and employee relations skills. Demonstrate a knowledge base of OSHA, DOSH and NFPA standards. Experience with General Contractor managing self-perform work in a union environment. Understanding of subcontractor management and safety requirements for specialty trades. Benefits

Conduct jobsite walks to ensure successful project completion and to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
