Senior Project Manager - Mobility & Infrastructure Overview Position: Senior Project Manager - Mobility & Infrastructure. Location: Basalt, CO. Salary: Base pay range $110,781/yr - $166,213/yr (note: salary posted ranges may vary by source).

Essential Job Functions

Acts as the technical project manager for the Entrance to Aspen project, including managing schedule, budget, consultant work, public meetings and technical document review.

Identifies, plans, budgets for and implements short and long-range capital projects of varying size and scope.

Scopes and sites bike share, bus stop and other transportation infrastructure.

Oversees maintenance, repair and long-range capital projects related to the Rubey Park Transit Center and City-owned bus stops.

Leads or participates in multi-departmental projects related to transportation, traffic calming, bike/ped facilities and similar.

Leads engineering design work; manages outsourced design projects related to transportation and mobility projects.

Qualifications

Education

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar.

Experience

– Progressively responsible professional experience in civil engineering including project management. Professional Engineer license is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

– Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; understand computer-based technology applications; ability to identify new technologies and trends in roadways, pavements, utilities, drainage, grading, soils, and work zone traffic control.

Licenses & Certifications

– Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 30 days; Registration as a Project Manager Professional or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.

Preferred Candidate

– Six to eight years of progressively responsible professional experience in general civil engineering including project management; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, project management tools; PMP license or ability to obtain within six months.

Other Requirements & Notes

This position may require a Criminal Background Check upon hire. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.

Position type and work hours: Regular full-time; hours may vary with workload. Evenings/weekends may be required depending on department needs and special projects.

Work environment: Indoor office environment; meetings, trainings, and site visits at various city facilities.

Physical demands: Includes walking, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other standard physical requirements; reasonable accommodations available.
