POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Real Estate & Land Senior Analyst to support and lead all land-related aspects of our solar & storage development business. This role will be instrumental across the full lifecycle of our projects — from acquisition and greenfield development to asset sales. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in land due diligence, site control, permitting, and landowner relations, with a strong understanding of real estate matters with regards to renewable energy projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Acquisition Support

Conduct land due diligence for project acquisitions, including site control, survey, title review, encumbrances, and access.

Coordinate with legal and development teams to validate site control and land-related risks and identify mitigation strategies where applicable.

Engage with landowners to resolve outstanding issues pre- and post-close.

Greenfield Development

Support the effort to negotiate lease, and easement agreements with landowners.

Manage permitting and land use approvals in coordination with local authorities.

Track land-related milestones and obligations through development.

Asset Sales & IPP Handoffs

Prepare and deliver land-related documentation for asset sales.

Support IPP partners with land diligence, title policies, and post-close obligations.

Ensure clean handoff of land contracts, payments, and compliance items.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in real estate, land development, or renewable energy.

Strong understanding of land acquisition, permitting, and title processes.

Experience negotiating land agreements and managing landowner relationships.

Familiarity with solar development is preferred.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ability to travel (10%) as needed to project sites and landowner meetings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with GIS tools, land databases, and permitting platforms.

Legal or paralegal background in real estate transactions a plus.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
