Global Fraud Prevention resides in the Global Risk Management (GRM) organization that supports various business lines in optimizing risk and rewards to enable profitable business growth. You will work with a team of global risk professionals focusing on managing the Americas acquisition strategies to support the growth of the Small Medium Business (SMB) line of business globally. Team and Role Context

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Global SMB Onboarding Risk Management. You will work with SMB business leaders, Risk Products, Decision Science, Fraud Operations, and Engineering to execute on the acquisition risk management roadmap to mitigate 3rd party fraud, 1st party abuse, and money movement risks. Your Impact and Day-to-Day

Provide solutions to address tactical and strategic business problems with strong analytical skills to support profitable growth of SMB portfolio. Develop an acquisition roadmap with stakeholders to drive profitable growth and define team objectives across regions, with emphasis on the Americas. Conduct thorough analysis with available data tools and translate insights into risk strategies balancing risk/reward. Set up portfolio monitoring to detect fraud pressure and work with peers to mitigate fraud urgently. Manage credit exposure and conduct sensitivity testing to optimize strategy. Evaluate internal models and implement them in risk strategies; partner with product and platform teams to execute risk strategies and conduct A/B testing to optimize onboarding funnel. What You Need To Bring

2+ years of experience in financial technology, banking, or payments in developing and implementing risk strategies to mitigate losses. Strong knowledge in data analytics to extract, analyze and transform data into risk strategy recommendations for profitable business growth. Knowledge of existing/emerging regulatory frameworks related to consumer and SMB acquisition. Experience in a Fintech environment working with Product and Engineering is a plus. Well organized, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects under deadlines. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and interpersonal agility/flexibility. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to execute the risk roadmap. Strong communication skills for explaining complex matters clearly. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $100,500 to $173,250. PayPal’s balanced hybrid work model typically includes 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
