The Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech) team is integral to Capital One, focusing on critical enterprise platforms and establishing industry-leading technology practices. You will help drive significant transformation within the organization.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead diverse technology projects and guide a team of skilled developers proficient in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create solutions that align with regulatory requirements.
Stay at the forefront of tech trends by experimenting with emerging technologies, participating in technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers while occasionally engaging in coding activities.
Collaborate with product managers to design and implement robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial goals.
Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree.
7+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
2+ years of experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
1+ years of experience in team leadership.
2+ years of experience utilizing Agile methodologies.
