What You'll Do:
Guide a diverse portfolio of technology projects while leading a skilled team of developers familiar with distributed microservices and full stack systems, designing solutions to meet the company's regulatory requirements.
Stay ahead of tech trends by exploring and learning new technologies, actively participating in tech communities, mentoring fellow engineers, and occasionally contributing to coding efforts.
Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that foster powerful financial empowerment experiences for users.
Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and leverage Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes alongside various AWS tools.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not count).
At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree.
7+ years of experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
2+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
4+ years of experience working with open source frameworks.
1+ years of experience in people management.
2+ years of Agile practices experience.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are as follows: McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700 for Senior Back End Software Engineer Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700 for Senior Back End Software Engineer Compensation includes performance-based incentives, which could be discretionary or non-discretionary.
