About The Position Job Title: Cat Scan Technician Profession: CT Scan Technologist Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous experience License: Maryland License Certifications: ARRT certified in CT, CPR via AHA Must-Have: Experience using Siemens CT Scanners Description: Perform CT exams. Responsible for knowing scan protocols according to department policies and procedures. Knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in radiology technology or a closely related field. Experience must include the use of Siemens CT Scanners. Scanners include Alpha, Force, Drive, Flash, and Definition 64. Areas include inpatient, emergency department, outpatient, pediatric, ICU, and oncology outpatient. Perform a variety of CT protocols including cardiac imaging, neuro perfusion imaging, CTA imaging, and pediatric imaging.
