HR & Talent Acquisition Manager @ Anchor -We are Hiring! At
Anchor , we are reinventing how businesses manage their revenue, freeing them from the burden of billing and collections so they can focus on growth.
Backed by top investors including Mosaic General Partnership, Zeev Ventures, Entree Capital, and industry leaders like Amy Banse (Adobe and ON Running), Tien Tzuo (Zuora), and former NBA superstar Andre Iguodala, we are making payments effortless so businesses can focus on scaling instead of chasing invoices.
We are looking for a
Senior Event Marketing Manager
to join our fast-growing team and take our event engine to the next level. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is not a booth booking gig; it is full ownership of strategy, execution, and performance.
Our event program is already a proven growth engine, which we aim to scale further and enhance.
We do not show up just because the calendar says “event season.” We do it the Anchor way
- creative, unique, unforgettable. We bring ourselves as people first, company second, so attendees remember the humans behind the brand, not just another product pitch. Now we need someone to codify what works, build repeatable processes, and scale a multi-million dollar revenue channel even further.
This role isn’t for everyone.
We look for people who bring their heart, take ownership, and are comfortable figuring things out. These aren’t buzzwords, it's our code. It's how we work, how we hire, and how we show up. These are the people who thrive at Anchor and the people you’d be working with. If that sounds like you, apply, even if you don't fit 100% into the job description.
Location: Austin, TX (4 days/week in-office).
Responsibilities

Create and manage a twelve-month schedule of conferences, tradeshows, virtual experiences, and local activations. Identify and prioritize the industry touchpoints that map to company, marketing, and sales goals.
Program execution:
Plan, produce, and deliver dozens of events each year, from flagship conferences to sponsored speaking slots, managing speaker preparation, creative requests, and seamless coordination with content and design.
End-to-end production ownership:
Own every timeline, budget, venue, vendor, booth design, swag order, travel plan, and on-site detail to ensure flawless, high-impact experiences.
Field marketing and community initiatives:
Run regional and local experiences and events that accelerate active deals and deepen relationships.
Budget stewardship:
Own a significant event budget and maximize return, negotiate costs end-to-end, and make every dollar count by directing spend to the experiences that deliver the strongest return on investment.
Attribution and reporting:
Capture engagement data across the event tech stack, turn insights into clear recommendations, and share regular impact reports with sales and marketing stakeholders.
Process and playbook creation:
Document templates, checklists, and runbooks that let the team replicate winning events quickly in any region.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Partner with sales, demand generation, product marketing, creative, and customer success to align goals, messaging, and follow-up plans.
Continuous improvement:
Set event KPIs, test new ideas, learn from the data, iterate fast, and keep raising the bar on what an Anchor event can achieve.
