The merchandising & stocking associate helps ensure members can find the products they need, from everyday items to special occasions. This role may involve moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. The position can be physically demanding and fast-paced, similar to going to the gym. You will be part of a team with a shared goal: making sure members can find more of what they love, for less. Promptly unloading trucks Assisting fellow associates throughout the store Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area Responsibilities
Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; guide and support with self-service technology; assist with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues; and promote products and services. Maintain facility safety according to company policies by conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and correcting unsafe situations. Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning the area, stocking and organizing merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Monitor product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation per policies; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Comply with policies and ethics; apply action plans and Open Door Policy in business processes. Complete work assignments by coordinating with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; set priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate progress; identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to change. Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy and procedures. Participate in programs and benefits offered by the company as appropriate. Benefits and compensation
