Assistant Professor of Instruction - Video Production & Documentary Location: 4202 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33620, US. Job identification: 41712. Job category: Faculty. The Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications at the University of South Florida invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Instruction. The candidate would teach a variety of video production courses such as electronic field production, Adobe for video and audio, production and direction, documentary film, and video for advertising and promotions. Opportunities could include teaching in virtual production. The successful candidate will stay up to date with the evolving video production industry. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in video production, film, broadcast news, mass communications or related field, and professional experience and expertise in video production and editing are required. Applicants must submit a video reel. Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with mirrorless/DSLR/Cinema cameras, proficiency with video editing software, and at least two years’ experience teaching university undergraduates. Application Process
