Job Title
Assistant Professor (Tenure‑Track Faculty) – School of Information Systems (SIS), University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, FL.
Position Overview The SIS in the Muma College of Business is recruiting one or two tenure‑track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026. Positions are located on the Tampa campus and involve research, teaching, and service activities.
Responsibilities
Conduct high‑quality research leading to publications in premier journals in the discipline.
Write grant proposals for federal competitive grants.
Teach undergraduate, masters, and/or doctoral SIS programs.
Engage with the business community and serve the university, college, and broader Tampa Bay communities.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Information Systems or a related discipline from a top university (AAU or equivalent).
Completion of the doctorate by July 2026 is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications
Record of research publications accepted or in late‑stage review in premier journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, or similar.
Ability to design and teach new courses for bachelor’s, masters, and/or doctoral programs in business applications of AI and analytics.
Interest and ability to build collaborative relationships with businesses and conduct research relevant to business audiences.
Capacity to participate in interdisciplinary research projects across university colleges.
