The Supply Chain Manager oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, from supplier selection to material delivery. This role ensures parts, components, and documentation meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while supporting Operations, Engineering, and Project Management. The manager drives supplier performance, optimizes inventory, and improves processes to meet customer commitments. Key Responsibilities

Develop / manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times, and terms to achieve cost, quality, and delivery goals. Track supplier performance with KPIs and implement improvement / risk mitigation strategies. Planning & Scheduling

Translate demand forecasts and project schedules into purchase orders and delivery plans. Collaborate with Project Managers to align procurement strategy with project milestones. Maintain visibility of long-lead and critical path components. Inventory & Warehouse Oversight

Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with working capital targets. Oversee receiving, storage, and staging of materials for assembly and testing. Enforce inventory controls to minimize stockouts, excess, and obsolescence. Manage customer-owned property. Documentation & Compliance

Ensure suppliers provide required quality documentation (MTRs, COCs, certifications). Partner with Quality on inspections and nonconformance resolution. Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Process Improvement & Coordination

Standardize procurement, expediting, and inventory practices. Identify opportunities for cost savings and lead-time reduction. Partner with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to ensure manufacturability, supplier readiness, and timely delivery of critical materials. Support Inside Sales with accurate lead-time data. Qualifications

Experience implementing and working with supply chain systems (MRP/ERP) and applying best practices in procurement and inventory management. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Skilled in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or materials management. Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or engineering-to-order (ETO) industry experience strongly preferred. Seniority level
