Maintain area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, and identifying member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise. Provide member service in the self-checkout area by resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, and processing purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types. Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets by observing potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices. Assist with training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures; deliver new program rollout training and provide ongoing learning and process improvement opportunities. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply open-door policy in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and adapting to change and feedback.
