Our Tech Stack Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, ShadCN Backend: NestJS, GraphQL, Prisma, AWS (Lambda, SQS, RDS, ECS) State Management: Apollo Client, React Query Testing: Jest, Playwright Your Mission We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer (Backend-focus) to shape the technical foundation of our platform, building key business integrations and working with industry-specific APIs, while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability as we grow. You’ll work closely with external-facing teams and senior engineering leadership through tight feedback loops and an iterative process. This is an opportunity to contribute to important initiatives with direct impact on revenue, drive technical decisions, and grow into a backend lead role as the company scales. Own & Ship Features End-to-End Drive product initiatives from high-level decisions to implementation, testing, and deployment. Integrations & APIs Design, extend, and maintain integrations with third-party systems — including Amadeus APIs and other external providers — ensuring reliability, scalability, and secure data flows. Contribute to key product areas with direct revenue impact. Backend Architecture, Scalability, Performance & Reliability Collaborate on defining the technical direction for our backend services, focusing on performance, maintainability, and scalability as we expand to new markets and larger data volumes. Build systems that are resilient, performant, and capable of handling large-scale, real-time data. Optimize for throughput, fault-tolerance, and efficient resource usage. Data-Heavy Workflows Design and implement data pipelines, transformations, and APIs that power analytics, dashboards, and customer-facing tools. Consider performance optimizations for large datasets, real-time event streams, and data integrity. Coordinate Across Teams Work closely with backend, data, and customer experience teams to define API contracts, manage large data payloads, and ensure optimal data representation and performance. Collaborate to surface insights, support customer needs, and deliver seamless product experiences. Agile & Feedback Loops Work in a tight build measure learning cycle, continuously improving based on user feedback, analytics, and usability testing. Your Profile ✅ 1-3 years of experience in backend or fullstack development, preferably in a B2B SaaS or data-heavy application. ✅ Experience with integrations and third-party APIs (Amadeus, Sabre or similar travel/enterprise APIs a plus). ✅ Strong skills in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python), ETL pipelines and databases (SQL). ✅ Comfort with distributed systems, real-time data, and performance optimization. ✅ Startup energy – you thrive in fast-moving environments, take ownership, and enjoy solving ambiguous problems. ✅ Growth mindset – excited about growing into a technical lead role as the company scales.
