The Social Media & Marketing Assistant will collaborate with the Marketing Director to support our partner company,
Acts of Kindness (AOK) Embryo Donation
, by driving key digital marketing initiatives. This role will focus on creating and scheduling engaging social media content, fostering online community engagement, managing Google Ads campaigns, assisting with website updates, and providing light administrative support as needed
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and passionate about meaningful storytelling and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling Create engaging, brand-aligned content (graphics, videos, captions) for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Schedule and publish posts across platforms, maintaining a consistent content calendar. Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and assist in community building. Digital Marketing Support Assist with planning and runningGoogle Adscampaigns (keyword research, ad creation, performance tracking). Track analytics across social media and ads, providing regular performance reports. Help optimize campaigns to increase reach and conversions. Website Support Assist with small website updates, such as adding blog posts, updating images, or refreshing copy. Collaborate with the marketing team on improvements for user experience and SEO. Administrative & Marketing Tasks Support the Marketing Director with administrative needs Assist with occasional community projects Qualifications
Bachelors degree required 12 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or related fields (internship or freelance experience welcome). Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok (posting, reels, stories, and analytics). Proficient
with Canva or other design tools for creating engaging content. Experience with Google Ads Basic knowledge of website editing Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent written communication and creativity. Passion for supporting families through embryo donation and adoption is a plus. Compensation & Hours
Part-time : 1015 hours per week (flexible scheduling with occasional deadlines). Compensation:
20-25/hr Hybrid: Remote work with occasional in-person support as needed.
