Key Responsibilities: Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, ensuring a welcoming space for diverse backgrounds. Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy, focusing on each client's unique needs and fostering healing and resilience. Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans that promote stable functioning and empower clients on their mental health journey. Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care. Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining high professional standards. Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for a holistic approach to mental health. Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Current and active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure by the time of hire. Passionate about mental health and committed to delivering high-quality care. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including continuing education. Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care. Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families. Effective time management skills and ability to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
