onsite role in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. What You Will Do

Implement proper cybersecurity controls Interact with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness Maintain a Risk Management Framework Authorization to Operate for the system Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems Consult and assist program line management with SSE architectures and issues Define security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components Integrate cybersecurity development activities Develop top‑level system requirements, and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem Understand and comply with DoD technology release and export licensing policies Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) Qualifications We Prefer

Usage of information security toolsets including antivirus, Vulnerability Assessment, HIDS/NIDS, host-based or endpoint security solutions, MFA, and SIEM with familiarity of Splunk Linux Bash scripting and Python scripting experience Security systems engineering involving various hardware and software configurations DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level-II Compliant Certification (e.g. Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) Security features and/or vulnerability analysis of operating systems as defined by Intelligence agencies IT/network/system security administration best practices for UNIX, Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco systems Understanding of Systems Engineering requirements and DoD/Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Processes Familiar with RMF per NIST 800-37; familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) per DoDI 5000.02 and 5200.39 Experience working on U.S. Government contract proposals as an Information Assurance Engineer subject matter expert What We Offer
