Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Plant Manager III
to oversee all operations at our poultry processing facility in Center, TX. This position leads a team of approximately 1,200 employees across three shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all functional areas of the poultry processing plant, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, sanitation, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. Lead and develop managers and supervisors to enhance team performance and leadership capability. Ensure compliance with all
food safety, quality, and regulatory
standards. Monitor and analyze production performance, cost data, and efficiency reports to identify improvement opportunities. Manage and execute plant capital projects and budget plans. Support
Talent Mapping, Succession Planning, and Retention
programs. Promote a culture of
Total Quality Management (TQM)
and continuous improvement. Qualifications
8+ years of poultry manufacturing experience
(Tray Pack or kill facility experience preferred). 6+ years of leadership experience
in large, complex, or unionized environments. Strong knowledge of
food safety, regulatory compliance,
and
plant operations . Proficient in
Microsoft Office ; SAP experience preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Travel:
Approximately 6–11 trips per year. Seniority level
