Position Overview
The BCBA is responsible for leading the clinical design and oversight of individualized ABA programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, supervising and training Behavior Technicians (BTs), and collaborating closely with families and caregivers to support skill development and behavior reduction.
Key Responsibilities Conduct direct and indirect assessments to develop individualized treatment goals. Design and monitor ABA programs focused on skill acquisition and behavior reduction. Perform visual analysis of collected data to inform ongoing program revisions. Provide initial and ongoing training, supervision, and performance feedback to Behavior Technicians. Conduct regular treatment observations to ensure program fidelity and consistency across staff. Train and mentor team members working toward BCBA certification. Prepare progress reports (biannual or quarterly) in accordance with funding source requirements. Maintain consistency in documentation and methodologies per Proven Behavior Solutions standards. Participate in staff meetings, clinical trainings, and professional development opportunities. Complete service summary forms and track ABA service hours weekly.
Qualifications Masters or Doctoral degree in
Applied Behavior Analysis ,
Psychology , or
Special Education
(preferred in ABA). Valid and current certification as a
BCBA/BCBA-D
and
LABA
(Massachusetts). Minimum
1 year
of experience as a BCBA and
3 years
overall in ABA (flexible for the right candidate). Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required.
