Set strategic direction for safety and environmental programs; author and maintain policies, manuals, KPIs, and company-wide standards. Lead incident response end-to-end, including investigations, root-cause analysis, formal reports, and corrective/preventive actions. Build and deliver safety training architecture (including LMS), onboarding, and recurring education for employees, leaders, and contractors. Conduct multi-site audits, inspections, and risk assessments; track findings through closure and present results to leadership. Develop practical field protocols for high-hazard shop/plant environments; ensure credible procedures for technicians and project teams. Create dashboards and executive metrics; report trends, compliance status, and injury-rate reduction plans to senior leadership and safety committees. Chair/partner with safety committees to champion employee engagement and continuous improvement across business units. Prepare for and participate in third-party/customer audits; coordinate documentation and follow-up actions. Manage the annual safety budget; prioritize investments in training, PPE, systems, and program improvements. Oversee environmental compliance activities and support Lean/process-safety initiatives that eliminate hazards at the source.
