Annual Bonus Safety Manager
(Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 base + bonus – depending on experience/qualifications) Sage Search Partners is seeking a Safety Manager for a diversified industrial services organization in the DFW area. In this role, you’ll own the enterprise safety program across multiple operating locations - designing the playbook, driving compliance, and partnering with leaders and field teams to strengthen a best-in-class safety culture. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, brings 8+ years of EHS leadership in operating facilities; has hands-on audits/RCA/CAPA expertise; owns safety KPIs; and is fluent with contractor platforms and modern LMS tools. Set strategic direction for safety and environmental programs; author and maintain policies, manuals, KPIs, and company-wide standards. Lead incident response end-to-end, including investigations, root-cause analysis, formal reports, and corrective/preventive actions. Build and deliver safety training architecture (including LMS), onboarding, and recurring education for employees, leaders, and contractors. Conduct multi-site audits, inspections, and risk assessments; track findings through closure and present results to leadership. Develop practical field protocols for high-hazard shop/plant environments; ensure credible procedures for technicians and project teams. Create dashboards and executive metrics; report trends, compliance status, and injury-rate reduction plans to senior leadership and safety committees. Chair/partner with safety committees to champion employee engagement and continuous improvement across business units. Prepare for and participate in third-party/customer audits; coordinate documentation and follow-up actions. Manage the annual safety budget; prioritize investments in training, PPE, systems, and program improvements. Oversee environmental compliance activities and support Lean/process-safety initiatives that eliminate hazards at the source. Maintain frequent site presence across a regional, multi-state footprint and customer facilities; model safety leadership in the field. Qualifications
8+ years of progressive safety management experience within operating facilities, ideally across process industries. Proficiency with contractor safety systems, Microsoft Office (Excel for tracking/metrics), and web-based LMS platforms. Skilled communicator who can influence at all levels and deliver clear executive reporting. Solid track record executing audits, incident investigations, RCAs, and CAPAs; able to provide strong writing samples of incident reports.
