Position purpose
To grow JCB’s North America heavyline product sales and market share by supporting territory management, the dealer distribution network, and key accounts for long-term business success and profitability. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Build the JCB business strategy for product sales to the North American construction sector. Lead the development of JCB North American sales growth for heavyline products (including Large Wheel Loaders, Large Excavators, and the Hydradig/Pothole Pro). Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets. Identify, build, and develop strategic and profitable relationships within the dealer network. Forecast, track, and report territory sales activities to management for heavy line products. Continually identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve revenue and profitability. Understand the key performance indicators that will leverage dealer business. Review territory target market opportunities and provide feeds into the dealer pipeline. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to support sales efforts in target markets. Proactively assist the organization in achieving its 5-year growth goals. Support demonstrations, installations, and customer prospecting alongside the dealer network. Nature & Scope
Reports to the GM Product Sales, based in San Antonio, Texas. Covers and supports the dealer network in the state of Texas. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years outside sales experience in the construction industry. Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar field. Heavy line product knowledge and/or similar product knowledge. Product and territory sales experience. Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Demonstrated success in developing and inspiring teams with product sales vision and mission. Ability to provide detailed product walk-arounds to various audience levels. Proven success in analyzing and forecasting trends and achieving sales targets. Ability to manage and maintain peer and business relationships with integrity and trust. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and/or SAP. Willingness to travel up to 90%. Job Conditions
