BOSS JCB is a premier full-line JCB construction equipment dealer serving Central and South Texas. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the North Austin territory.
Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, municipalities, and other heavy equipment users throughout the North Austin market. This individual will drive new and used equipment sales by providing tailored solutions, building trust, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Territory Development:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, utility companies, municipalities, and other potential equipment buyers.
Account Management:
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through consistent communication, on-site visits, and proactive support.
Present, demonstrate, and sell JCB construction equipment, attachments, and related products. Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to delivery and follow-up.
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer jobsite needs to strategically position BOSS JCB and JCB products in the marketplace.
Work closely with the Sales Manager, Inside Sales, Service, and Parts departments to ensure superior customer experiences and seamless support after the sale.
CRM & Reporting:
Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in construction equipment, agriculture, trucking, or related industries.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.
Strong understanding of heavy equipment applications and jobsite operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Valid CDL or willingness to get one.
