The Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC) is one of the nation’s foremost Jewish Community Centers, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. With more than 400 employees, a dynamic campus, and a vibrant membership, the OFJCC is a hub of Jewish life, cultural engagement, early childhood education, camps, fitness, and community programs that serve thousands each week.
Salary range:
$210,000 - $240,000/annual
This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Act as partner and advisor to the CEO on strategic business matters
Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational growth and impact
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, tax regulations, and grant requirements
Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and investment advisors
Lead and mentor finance staff
Collaborate with program and development teams to align financial planning with mission delivery
Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting to all governmental agencies, funders, and foundations
Fulfill long term cash planning and needs of the JCC, including 10-year projections
Support the Board of Directors and Finance Committee with timely and transparent reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; CPA and/or MBA preferred
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Financial management
Deep understanding of nonprofit accounting, compliance, and financial management
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
Experience with endowments, restricted funds, and grant reporting a plus
Working knowledge of NetSuite and QuickBooks is desired
