Position Overview This Part‑Time Instructor is responsible for teaching Chemistry courses. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In‑Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

In order for candidates to be considered, they must be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner and meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC’s Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master’s degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s).

What you need to succeed

Master’s degree in Chemistry; or Master’s degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry

All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
