What you’ll do
Manage Continuous Improvement and Packaging Innovation: Review and analyze packaging development processes to identify opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies. Develop and continually review objectives to maximize end-to-end efficiency and member value. Support Packaging Development: Evaluate and engineer packaging based on production capabilities, geographic locations, quality control processes, innovation, equipment specifications, color management, and costs. Analyze key metrics, advise on packaging standards and cost estimates, and recommend packaging suppliers. Develop packaging innovations, specifications, and strategies for new and existing Member’s Mark products. Resolve Issues with Packaging Damages: Identify items with high damage rates, determine resources needed, collaborate with partners to implement solutions or contingency plans, and establish best practices for the packaging team. Develop External Communications: Ensure consistent global execution of packaging specifications by collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet company standards. Prepare presentations and post reference materials for the supplier community in the company information system. Coordinate and Oversee Job-Related Activities: Build relationships with key stakeholders, packaging suppliers, and cross-functional partners. Identify opportunities for packaging improvement and promote continuous improvement. What you’ll bring
