Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer – FLOAT with 3+ years of experience, BLS and RDCS certification to perform echocardiograms across multiple locations.
Responsibilities Work across multiple locations as a floating Cardiac Sonographer Setting includes inpatient and outpatient echocardiography labs Patient population primarily consists of adults requiring transthoracic echocardiograms Common studies performed include complete and limited transthoracic echocardiograms Shift is 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 5x8 hour days, no on-call or holiday coverage required Uses Epic EMR, Fuji CV PACS, Philips Epiq7 and GE Vivid E95 echo carts One week of orientation to the echo lab, documentation systems, image processing, and campus layout provided Scrubs in Caribbean Blue are required No holiday or call coverage is expected for this assignment
Requirements Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Cardiac Sonographer BLS and RDCS certifications required Proficiency in performing transthoracic echocardiograms Experience with Epic EMR, Fuji CV PACS, Philips and GE echo equipment preferred License required if applicable
