Overview

Contracted Faculty of Practice are needed to serve as University Supervisors for field experiences and student teaching – early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education, and English as a Second Language. The College of Education prepares professionals in a Lutheran liberal arts environment for lifelong learning and service in teaching, research, and leadership in our diverse and global community. The college includes Undergraduate Teacher Education, Graduate Teacher Education, Doctoral Studies in Education, and the Dr. Barb Schoenbeck Hand in Hand ChildCare Center. Responsibilities

Serve as University Supervisors for field experiences and student teaching in early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education, and English as a Second Language. Required Education & Experience

A commitment to Christian higher education; the mission of Concordia University, St. Paul; and the Lutheran identity of the university At least a Master’s degree in education or a closely related field Five or more years of exemplary teaching experience Current Minnesota teaching license at level of supervision A commitment to the teaching profession and teaching excellence Organized, able to meet deadlines, and excellent interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work in technology-mediated environments Preferred
