Job Description As a
Security Officer
in
Haltom City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. This position offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a secure environment at a busy food and beverage production location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service by addressing questions and supporting on-site people. What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations calmly.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity, with consideration for the food and beverage environment.
Observe and report irregularities or incidents involving property, equipment, personnel, and/or visitors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to deter unauthorized entry.
Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as required.
Complete required logs and reports related to security activities and observations.
Assist visitors and employees with general inquiries and directions as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Drug screening as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
