Position summary and responsibilities mirror the needs of the club’s Member Frontline Service operations, including customer service, merchandise organization, self-checkout support, loss prevention, training, and process improvement in accordance with company policies and procedures. What you'll do
Maintain area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Provide member service by assisting customers with locating merchandise, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging members, and helping with purchasing decisions. Support self-checkout areas by resolving member issues, promoting Sam's Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, processing purchases, and handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policy. Assist with safeguarding assets by monitoring for potential security concerns, maintaining paperwork logs, following emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Contribute to training of Member Frontline Service associates on processes, new technology, and program rollouts, and provide continuous learning opportunities. Comply with policies, procedures, and ethical standards; apply related action plans using the Open Door Policy in daily operations. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement while adapting to change and feedback. Culture and core values
