Overview Position Summary and What you’ll do: provide member service, maintain area standards, support checkout and self-checkout processing, safeguard assets, and contribute to team training and process improvement in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and locating merchandise.

Provide member service by maintaining self-checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam’s Club products and services, guiding members on self-service technology, and processing purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policy for different membership and payment types.

Assist with securing and safeguarding Sam’s Club assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork logs and documentation, and executing emergency procedures in compliance with security and safety practices.

Assist with training of Member Frontline Service associates on company processes and procedures, including new technology, program rollouts, and continuous learning opportunities.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards and apply related action plans using the Open Door Policy.

Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and coworkers, communicating progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement and adaptation to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums in specific circumstances.
