We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Controller will own all aspects of accounting, month end close, and financial reporting, as well as the internal control environment, for our manufacturing operations. While the primary responsibilities are related to financial statement reporting, there will be opportunities for the role to evolve to include financial planning & analysis, supporting the annual budgeting process and the 13-week cash flow forecast. Responsibilities

Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements are prepared with accuracy and timeliness Own the delivery of financial reports to the private equity sponsor and lender, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and other reporting obligations Provide variance analysis, key financial metrics, and insights to support investor and lender decision-making Serve as the primary financial point of contact for PE sponsors, lenders, and external financial partners Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and lenders to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting Own proper bookkeeping practices, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring account reconciliations support balance sheet account balances Oversee cost accounting for manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation, COGS calculations, and margin analysis; own accuracy of BOM costs and inventory backflushing Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and accounting systems to improve efficiency; leverage automation to drive efficiencies Operational & Strategic Support Proactively provide data-driven analyses that inform decision-making, drive cost efficiencies/improved profitability, and drive improvements in operational performance Optimize accounting software to enhance financial transparency and reporting efficiency Develop meaningful datasets around margin (by customer, channel) Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting or controller role Experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with lender reporting/compliance Expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise preferred) Experience in model building, analysis and reporting Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with PE sponsors, lenders, and executive leadership Seniority level
