As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will optimize manual, semi‑automated, and fully automated processes. You will collaborate with operators, team leaders, and value stream managers to enhance production layouts, streamline material flow, and improve line balancing. Submit CapEx requests for new equipment or technology and work with project team members and suppliers to ensure flawless integration into production. Apply lean principles to drive continuous improvement and waste reduction, resulting in enhanced safety, product quality, delivery, and reduced cost. Work with the NPD team to analyze drawings and ensure the new product can be manufactured efficiently and cost‑effectively. Manage prototype builds and the initial production ramp‑up, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. Develop and own project plans that involve managing resources, costs, and schedule; assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project to meet or exceed targeted outcomes. Lead and facilitate Kaizen activities using lean tools, interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities, while encouraging multi‑functional groups to participate. Effectively communicate and present project updates, reports, and documentation to all relevant stakeholders, including leadership, project teams, and customers. What you have

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related degree. 3+ years of engineering experience. Experience with one or more of the following systems: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office, ERP (JD Edwards), PLM (Enovia), Microsoft Project or similar project management software. What we have

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 – $116,900.00. Depending on the position offered, the employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
