About the Opportunity We’re looking for a
Senior Systems Engineer
to play a key role in supporting and modernizing enterprise IT infrastructure across on-prem and AWS environments. This role blends
hands-on systems administration ,
cloud engineering ,
identity management , and
automation
efforts. You’ll handle escalated support issues, maintain critical infrastructure, and contribute to ongoing improvement and modernization projects, including
Windows 11 deployment ,
backup/monitoring consolidation , and
identity sync optimization . What You’ll Do Manage Windows Server environments, patching (AutoMox), and monitoring platforms (PRTG, LanSweeper). Administer VMware vSphere 8 environments and TrueNAS Core storage. Support and optimize AWS cloud environments and on-prem connectivity. Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalated support beyond L1/L2. Manage Active Directory and Okta identity environments (sync, SSO, IAM policies). Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and related user access workflows. Maintain and enhance PowerShell automation scripts. Monitor and maintain backup solutions (e.g., Veeam). Maintain clear system documentation and knowledge resources. Contribute to infrastructure projects including: Windows 11 rollout Image management & workstation deployments Server refresh initiatives You’ll Be a Strong Fit If You Have 7+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience Hands-on experience with: VMware vSphere Windows Server (2012–2022) Active Directory administration Experience with Okta and M365 integration Working knowledge of TrueNAS or similar storage systems Production AWS environment experience PowerShell scripting and automation skills Familiarity with patching & backup tools (AutoMox, Veeam, etc.) Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and collaboration skills Ability to travel occasionally to the Plano, TX datacenter (if not local) Bonus Skills (Not required, but nice to have!)
