Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to support ISO 9001:2015 certification efforts and ensure continuous improvement of quality systems. The role focuses on document management, training, audit findings, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and collaboration with leadership and across multiple support departments. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards and the ability to manage cross-functional projects to drive compliance and operational excellence. Responsibilities
ISO 9001:2015 Documentation Management: Review, route, and ensure proper control of all quality management system documents, including policies, procedures, and work instructions. Maintain up-to-date records and ensure documentation adheres to ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Partner with colleagues to ensure documents are accurate, compliant, and easily accessible. Training And Development: Develop and deliver training programs related to ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management procedures to staff across departments. Monitor training effectiveness and ensure all employees are adequately trained on quality systems and document control procedures. Engage with training generation for assigned areas. Coordinate and lead generation, completion, and evaluation of standard work documents for assigned areas. Audit Support And CAPA Management: Partner with leadership to address audit findings by implementing problem-solving strategies. Track, report, and close out CAPA initiatives to ensure non-conformance is addressed and documented. Assist with internal and external ISO 9001:2015 audits, providing necessary documentation and support as needed. Collaboration With Support Teams: Work with the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team to ensure Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is completed for applicable procedures and tasks. Ensure quality and safety standards align and documentation is updated and compliant with regulations. Cross-functionally influence policies and procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Other tasks as assigned by the direct manager. Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the quality system and recommend process improvements. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification and support quality goals. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in quality systems management, preferably in an ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards and implementation. Proven experience in document control, audit management, and CAPA processes. Experience developing and delivering training programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects. Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in manufacturing or a regulated industry. Six Sigma certification in root cause analysis or similar. Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations, particularly related to Job Safety Analysis. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Compensation and Benefits
Total Rewards Package: Base: $85,000 - $94,000 annually, depending on factors including education, experience, and market. Bonus: Eligible for discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; Wellness Program; HSA with company contribution; Voluntary Benefits; 401(k) with 7.5% company contribution; Time Off: 22 days PTO, 9 holidays, 2 volunteer days.
