Position overview and responsibilities follow. This role involves supervising associates, supporting member service, assisting with store operations, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. What you'll do
Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches to resolve member issues per company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; maintain required documentation and strive to meet membership goals. Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding use of self-service technology, processing transactions at registers or self-checkout, and ensuring club pick up orders are fulfilled. Oversee the assigned area by handling claims and returns, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds, assisting with transporting items, and keeping parking lot clean. Complete accounting records and other required documentation; manage funds for register operations; create and interpret financial reports; assist with accounting investigations; prepare deposits and cash fund transfers; investigate overages/shortages; protect confidentiality of financial and personal information. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and reinforce compliance with ethics and integrity standards; explain and apply policies; support action plans; use the Open Door Policy; assist management with addressing ethics and compliance issues. Lead and participate in teams by coordinating work, assessing customer needs and business priorities, providing feedback, and supporting change management. Benefits and compensation
