Overview
Sofidel America, based in Horsham, PA, is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is local to the area and interested in building a long-term career with a stable and growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post general ledger entries, including recurring and adjusting transactions
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly basis
Prepare supporting schedules for financial and management reports
Review general ledger accounts for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Support annual external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Perform additional accounting and finance duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
2+ years of accounting experience preferred (experience in indirect taxes is a plus)
SAP knowledge preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other accounting systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
