Job Summary As a Loss Control Consultant (or Senior Loss Control Consultant), you will evaluate risks, provide technical consulting, and recommend loss control strategies for new, renewal, and prospective business. This role involves collaborating with underwriting and other teams to identify and manage risks, ensuring effective risk mitigation for clients. You will also write risk reports and guide customers in managing their exposures.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with underwriting to assess and manage risks for various industries.

Conduct risk evaluations and write detailed reports with actionable recommendations.

Work with clients to identify and address uncontrolled exposures and implement corrective actions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriting, claims, agents, and loss control teams.

Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, safety, engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge of insurance industry and risk management practices.

3+ years of experience in loss control preferred.

Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.

Willingness to travel regularly, including approximately 50% local (in-state) and 50% out-of-state travel. This includes roughly five nights per month in a hotel and weekly day visits to customer locations.
