About the role As a Seasonal Sales Representative, you\'ll be responsible for conducting on-site design consultations, creating custom lighting proposals, and closing residential holiday lighting installations during our peak season. This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position running from September through December, offering uncapped earning potential for motivated sales professionals. You\'ll work with pre-qualified, pre-scheduled appointments and use our proprietary mobile design tools to create visual proposals that close deals on the spot. Ideal for former door knockers, outside sales professionals, or anyone with a consultative sales background looking to capitalize on the concentrated holiday season. What you\'ll do As a seasonal sales representative, you\'ll travel daily to pre-scheduled, fully qualified client appointments throughout your assigned territory. You\'ll conduct professional in-home consultations where you assess properties, understand customer preferences and budgets, and use our mobile design app to create customized lighting proposals with real-time visualizations. Your goal is to close deals during or shortly after appointments by building trust, answering technical questions, and presenting the value of our premium installation services. You\'ll document job details, special requests, and site notes in our CRM system for seamless handoff to installation crews. Between appointments, you\'ll manage your territory strategically, follow up on proposals as needed, and maintain relationships with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business. You\'ll participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training to stay sharp on products, pricing, and closing techniques. This is fast-paced, relationship-driven work that rewards hustle, professionalism, and the ability to consultatively sell high-value services. Top performers can earn $20,000-$45,000+ during the 10-14 week season. Compensation Structure

: 1099 Independent Contractor (Commission Only) Commission Rates: 10% commission on new customer installations 15% commission on returning customer installations Earning Potential:

$15,000 - $45,000 per season (September - December) Based on typical sales volumes of $150,000 - $400,000+ during the active season Top performers with strong closing skills and territory management can exceed these figures All appointments are pre-qualified and pre-scheduled — no cold calling required Season Timeline: Training: Late August - Early September Active Sales Season: September 1st - December 15th Installation Coordination: Through December 31st Qualification Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in outside or in-home sales Demonstrated track record in customer-facing roles with measurable results Experience in home improvement, door-to-door sales, solar, pest control, roofing, or related industries strongly preferred Confident presenting pricing and closing sales without extensive follow-up cycles Comfortable working with technology and mobile sales tools Personal Attributes
