About The Position Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 32 Experience: Minimum of 2 years, with 1 year of current experience License: State license in Massachusetts required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography. Must have Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred. Must be willing to work weekends. Must have your own vehicle. Must include permanent address in profile. All requested time off must be included in the profile. Description: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by supervisory personnel. Ensure proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. May assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel. Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with policies and OSHA standards. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate proper operation of relevant computer systems. Operate and troubleshoot imaging applications as necessary. Attend annual mandatory education programs. Maintain department competencies as required. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Requests for time off after upload will not be approved. Travelers are required to work two specified holidays. Extensions requested to end before holiday periods will not be considered.
