Finance Manager
to lead the financial operations of the College. This role would suit an accomplished finance professional who is currently managing a busy finance function within education, the public sector, or across a range of business and organisational settings. You will be confident overseeing all areas of financial operations — from ledgers and compliance to reporting and audit preparation — and experienced in supporting senior leaders to make informed and effective financial decisions. As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) or an individual qualified by experience, you will bring strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, VAT, and financial reporting requirements. You will have a proven track record of managing, developing, and motivating teams to deliver high-quality financial outcomes. At Bishop Burton College, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial management information, leading on process improvements, and helping to shape the continued financial success of the College.
