Senior Accountant with strong, hands-on experience in NetSuite to join a dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solid foundation in
full-cycle accounting, revenue recognition, and cost accounting . The candidate should bring deep NetSuite expertise and a strong analytical mindset with the ability to streamline and automate accounting processes through technology and best practices. Key Responsibilities
Perform
full-cycle general ledger accounting , including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Manage
revenue recognition ,
work-in-progress (WIP) , and
cost of goods sold (COGS)
accounting in accordance with GAAP standards. Oversee
accounts payable (AP)
and
accounts receivable (AR) , including
milestone billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations . Prepare and analyze
financial statements , ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all reporting. Conduct
variance analyses , account reconciliations, and process improvements to enhance close efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate revenue and cost tracking. Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation for audit readiness. Utilize
advanced Excel functions
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and data modeling) to generate reports and support decision-making. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 3+ years of full-cycle accounting
experience, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. Proven knowledge of
revenue recognition principles, WIP tracking, and cost of goods accounting . Hands-on
AP/AR
experience, including billing, collections, and cash applications. Advanced proficiency in
Excel
(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and formula auditing). Strong working knowledge of
NetSuite ERP
(minimum 2 years required). Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. About Ascendo / EEO
