As the Fine Fragrance PR Marketing Manager (香水业务公关市场经理), a core part of the China digital team, you will report to the Digital and PR Team Manager. You are responsible for Givaudan's PR, communication, and marketing strategies. You will have proven experience managing from social media content production and promotion, B2B customers and influencers' event management, to fine fragrance category product marketing, to positively drive customer and influencer engagement and the fine fragrance business growth for China, while contributing to Givaudan global communication strategy and overall Givaudan China cross-category business growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies for the fine fragrance business to drive brand awareness and market share.

Public Relations:

Build relationships with key media, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Craft compelling content, media kits, and promotional materials to communicate our brand story.

Social media:

Operate Givaudan's own social media channels on WeChat, WeChat video, Redbook, TikTok, etc., produce compelling and engaging content and campaigns; also promote China content to be published on global social media channels, e.g. Instagram and LinkedIn.

Campaign Management:

Lead the planning and execution of PR campaigns, including online and offline events. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Trends Analysis and Insights:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends in fine fragrance, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics within the industry. Use these insights to shape and enhance our marketing and communication strategies.

Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, Business development, global corporate communication and marketing team, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment across all channels; support fine fragrance clients and projects when needed.

Budget Management:

Manage the PR and marketing budget, ensuring allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.

Business Partnership Development:

Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to uncover new business opportunities and enhance the customer experience.

Ad-hoc project:

Lead or support PR and customer events or projects, when relevant and needed from a business perspective.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Over 5 years of experience in PR and marketing, with a proven track record of demonstrating how PR and communication strategies contribute to achieving business objectives.

Passion for the Fragrance Industry. Experience in Fragrance or beauty industry, advertising agency, copywriting, or video content creation.

Comfortable speaking in public and presenting in front of a camera.

Strong understanding of the China social media ecosystem, and digital marketing strategies and tools.

Verbal and written command of Mandarin and English (must have).
