Litigation Paralegal

to help guide our clients through life-changing legal matters such as divorce, custody, adoption, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting pleadings (e.g., Petitions, Motions, DRFAs, Child Support Worksheets)

Preparing and responding to discovery, including inserting appropriate objections

Managing litigation calendars and tracking deadlines

Preparing files and clients for mediation, hearings, and trial

Assembling trial binders and final orders

Performing legal research and drafting

Coordinating virtual hearings and mediations (Zoom, WebEx, etc.)

E-filing documents through platforms such as Odyssey and PeachCourt

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced:

Minimum of 5+ years in Georgia family law litigation

Proactive:

Able to work independently and anticipate case needs without hand-holding

Detail-Oriented:

Takes pride in getting it right the first time

Compassionate:

Understands the emotional complexity of family law cases and treats clients with empathy

Team-Oriented:

Willing to collaborate and help when deadlines loom

Tech-Savvy:

Proficient in MS Word, basic case management software, and e-filing systems

Solutions-Focused:

Speaks up to improve systems and respects internal policies and procedures
