A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel. The Scheduling Parameters And Expectations For a Flex Officer include being trained at various posts/facilities based on operational need, shifts varying based on need, and assignments offered as they become available. Some shifts may be scheduled in advance and posted; some may be scheduled on short notice. You are expected to work any shift scheduled within your availability and to communicate unavailability in advance with your supervisor. For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company. Education Requirements (All): High School diploma or equivalent. Qualifications
Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work various shifts, days, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible and team oriented. 1+ years of experience in a customer service role. Exceptional report writing skills. Must be reliable. Benefits and Additional Information
