Overview
The person selected for this role will support the rearing of blow flies for research purposes and supervising temporary lab assistants. This will include maintenance of the essential lab blow fly stocks, performing genetic crosses as needed to maintain lines and work with senior lab personnel. The person will ensure that all safety regulations are met, update the lab safety manual as needed, coordinate provision of materials (supplies and fly lines) for students and postdocs, and supervise undergraduates.
