Postdoctoral Research Scholar – NC State College of Engineering

Responsibilities
Conduct research related to motor control/learning, biomechanics and adaptation in human participants.
Develop corresponding novel control strategies and support grant application.
Develop control systems and rehabilitation devices.
Disseminate results through publication and reports.
Seek funding support for research.
Support other lab activities, such as recruitment and outreach.
Mentor graduate students and undergraduates.

Requirements & Preferences Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8‑5 or as required by supervisor.
Required: Five years of experience in biomedical engineering and related fields.
Preferred:
Experience with conducting research on patient populations
Experience with working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary research teams
Programming skills (Python, MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW etc.)
Valid NC Driver's License required? No.
Recruitment & Compensation Anticipated Hiring Range: $62,000–$63,000.
