Your Day To Day As a Radiation Control Technician
Routine Collection of air samples, radiological monitoring equipment calibration, radiation and contamination surveys using portable instruments. Issue TLDs and Respirators. Performs job coverage of high contamination jobs. Participates in emergency response. Support customer\'s needs to meet demanding schedules.
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with NOGL Mt Athos facility and complex access requirements and facility. Must be able to acquire and maintain respirator qualifications. Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Desirable experience in performance of high contamination support. NRRPT or equivalent experiences desirable. Experience with Uranium or radioactive material work desirable.

Pay Information
Pay: $59,000 - $101,000 The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $59,000 and $101,000 per year. The total compensation package may include additional elements such as an annual cash incentive and a full range of benefits. Details will be provided with an employment offer.

If hired, the selected candidate will be employed on an at-will basis unless governed by a collective bargaining agreement. The company reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation or benefit programs at any time, including for performance and market factors.
