About The Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (3 PM - 11:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required for those certified in X-Ray or Computed Tomography. Certifications: Current healthcare provider BLS certification required. ARRT MRI certification preferred. Must-Have: Experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast, and Breast Biopsy MRI is encouraged. IV skills required. Description: This position is for an MRI Technologist to perform imaging studies. The department operates two scanners in the main facility and three scanners in outpatient clinics. The technologist will perform common types of imaging, including brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and musculoskeletal studies. Experience with imaging patients who have implanted devices is a plus. Familiarity with healthcare systems and PACS software, specifically EPIC and Sectra, is beneficial. The technologist will work in a team and may float to cover other areas as required by operational needs. Participation in holiday and standby rotations is expected. Personal scrubs are recommended, as hospital scrubs are provided only to specific staff. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism and adhere to department protocols.
