Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and strong IV skills for an acute care setting.

Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital with MRI department utilizing two scanners and serving three outpatient clinics Scanners include GE 1.5T & 3T in the main hospital and Philips, Hitachi at outpatient sites Typical studies include brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, MSK, and imaging of patients with implanted devices Average of 28 scans per day Requires experience with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS Days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts Participation in standby and holiday rotation may be required Float coverage to other areas may be needed based on operational requirements Main duties include performing a variety of MRI imaging studies and researching implanted devices prior to imaging Personal scrubs required; hospital scrubs are only provided to OR staff Radiology aides available for technologist assistance Comprehensive department-specific orientation provided Must participate in the holiday schedule rotation if assigned References from a supervisor within the last 12 months and a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years are required Copy of driver’s license required for consideration

Requirements Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience required Active ARRT certification is required, and ARMRIT only accepted if candidate also holds ARRT MR certification Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required IV start skills required Experience with GE, Philips, and Hitachi MRI equipment Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required if ARRT certification is in X-ray or CT ARRT MRI Certification preferred N95 fit testing required Epic and Sectra PACS system experience preferred License required if applicable
